I have had harmonica laying around my room for years. I picked it up and thought maybe I should learn to play since I have one. So I got this free book but was not very impressed. It doesn't tell you how to play. It just tells you the characteristics of a harmonica.Not so much as play it. But for a free book I got a little bit of decent info out of it. It was O.K.
interesting book its a great beginner book for those wanting to learn how to play harmonica. no riffs in the book really but has taught me some new things and facts about the harmonica i didnt know.
There is nothing here that cannot be had for free on the Internet. A total waste of $2.99. I am surprised would sell this.
Doesn't teach you how to play, discusses parts of the harmonica and how to properly hold . I was expecting further instruction
They tried to cram too much into too few pages. Confusing and not fully accurate. For example, made it sound like bending is simply using more air. Too much detail about theory and very little on actual technique. Wouldn't recommend for a beginner. You can get much more helpful info for free on internet.
I was totally disappointed with the bookit had songs to play with ,it had no illustrations and lack any type of musical value
This is one of the best books I have found on the harmonica and how to enjoy using it. Very thorough, covers great information for beginners and even those who have been playing awhile can benefit from the instructions. Nice illustrations that help clearly to point out the parts of the harmonica,how to place the hands and fingers for the different tones a person wants to play. Recommended resource.
